Matthew Bennett brings over 15 years of exper­i­ence in senior treas­ury, finance, and regu­lat­ory report­ing roles across leading global banks in London and Zurich.

He special­ises in regu­lat­ory report­ing, treas­ury and finance trans­form­a­tion, balance sheet optim­isa­tion, and debt capital markets, with deep expert­ise across the Swiss, UK, and EU regu­lat­ory land­scapes.

Before joining Finyon Consult­ing, Matthew held lead­er­ship roles at multiple G-SIB insti­tu­tions. Most recently, he led efforts to resolve crit­ical liquid­ity and finan­cing issues in the context of a major Swiss bank merger. Prior to that, he headed the Group, Switzer­land, and EMEA Liquid­ity Meas­ure­ment & Report­ing func­tion for a major Swiss bank, managing large cross‑bor­der teams and working directly with regu­lat­ors, central banks, and exec­ut­ive‑­level stake­hold­ers.

Matthew holds a Bach­elor's degree in Econom­ics and a Master's degree in Inter­na­tional Busi­ness and Economic Devel­op­ment, both from the Univer­sity of Reading's Henley Busi­ness School. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Insti­tute of Manage­ment Account­ants (FCMA) and a Chartered Global Manage­ment Account­ant (CGMA) under CIMA and the AICPA.
