Prior to joining FINYON, Olga spent 6 years at the University of Zurich, where she conducted empirical and theoretical research on topics related to financial intermediation, financial regulation, and financial stability. In this context, she collaborated with several policy-making institutions, particularly focusing on banks and non-bank financial institutions, bank capital requirements and macroprudential policies, as well as derivatives and systemic risk.
Olga holds a PhD in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich and the Swiss Finance Institute and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Bonn.
Olga also serves as an external lecturer at the University of Zurich. Additionally, she is a member of the executive committee of the Swiss Finance Institute Alumni Association, where she is responsible for the concept development of knowledge exchange events, including events dedicated to promoting female professionals in Finance.
