Peter Vollenweider has worked in the financial industry for over 25 years. He is co-founder and owner of FINYON.
He worked at a big bank in the capital markets business, as Head of Liquidity Management and as Head of Business Support for Corporate & Institutional Clients, as CFO of a Securities Dealer and as a management consultant in Treasury & Risk Management Consulting of a Big 4 consulting firm.
He completed his business education at the University of St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG), is a certified Financial Risk Manager (GARP FRM) and completed the Bank Governane Programme at Said Business School.
In addition to various board mandates at SMEs, Peter is also a member of the board of trustees of a vested benefits foundation and a pension foundation. From 2014 to 2020, he was a member of the Zurich Cantonal Council and its finance and economic commissions.
